uPort builds ecosystems that let individuals and customers share data in a simple, secure and privacy-preserving way. They provide solutions that include user controlled data, scalable and secure data exchanges, and trusted business ecosystems that build deeply integrated Ethereum infrastructure. 

uPort currently has two product suites: uPort Serto and uPort Open.

uPort Serto is for ecosystems and consortia. It complies with GDPR while reforging customer trust and control and de-risks user data by only storing data that is legally required and relevant for a business. It slashes transaction costs for onboarding and trusted data management, and it provides easy-to-use data management and control for businesses and customers.

uPort Open is open source code. All the code that is part of uPort is open source and hosted in GitHub. This includes helping to develop standards for the decentralized identity space and building an open community that encourages collaborative behavior.

uPort also has the uPort ID mobile application that serves as a self-sovereign identity wallet that gives users control over their identity and personal data. Users can create an identity on the Ethereum blockchain network, approve Ethereum transactions and digitally sign files.
