Identity Review | Global Tech Think Tank
Keep up with the digital identity landscape.
As data privacy continues to evolve, countries around the world are adapting in different, interesting ways. As the age of technology and the internet is still fairly new, policies relating to privacy in this sphere are still emerging and improving, and each country has their own set of policies, laws, and regulations dealing with data privacy. With the exception of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which affects all countries that are part of the European Union, each country has different ways of approaching data policy, so it can be difficult to keep track of all the various laws and regulations.
Identity Review’s Global Data Policy Database serves as a comprehensive record of data policies around the world. Each row is composed of region, regulation, status of the policy, a short description, and a link to find more information. The structure of the database allows for users to easily search and view policies for specific regions from all around the world. All seven continents are included, providing a detailed snapshot of the current data policy situation on a global scale. While the focus of the main database is consumer data policy, there is also a separate tab that contains a database for other significant global data policies ranging from telecommunications to labor. The ultimate goal of this database is to provide a straightforward, accessible resource for anyone interested in delving into global data policies.
